2004 Howard Wyman Sheep Industry Leadership School will be held July 11-14 in San Angelo, TX. Particpants must be 20 years of age or older and applications are due by June 1, 2004. 3.29.04 2004 Beef University Announced

The Colorado Livestock Association and the Department of Animal Sciences at Colorado State University are sponsoring Beef University May 19-21, 2004. Participants in the workshop will have an opportunity to:

  • test their live animal evaluation skills
  • explore marketing options
  • receive updates on new technologies and industry trends
  • follow fed cattle through harvesting and fabrication

The highlight of this 3 day program comes as participants are grouped into teams and compete for prizes as they make management and purchasing decisions, and showcase their beef carcass fabrication skills. For a complete agenda, click here (.pdf)


Registration is $100/person which includes all meals and transportation to and from the various activities. Deadline for registration is: May 1, 2004.
